PGC Era
GTAF Radio was the first Radio program on GTAForums. This radio program was hosted by Ottae and Rob_UK and a new episode was released (almost) every week in the Public Gang Chat. Ottae first came up with the idea while de-icing his freezer. He was overhearing another website's podcast style radio show and decided to do a similar thing with the PGC. He consulted his nearest friend on the forum, Rob_UK, and within an hour, a pilot episode was released.
The pilot received much praise and the radio program has said to have improved with every episode. After an hour of being posted, the topic got pinned by OBrien. GTAF Radio was the pioneer in radio programs on GTAForums. After it's release, OBrien and Slynke both thought that making a Radio Network was a good idea. However, Rob UK and Ottae weren't very enthusiastic about the idea, and the topic that it was brought up in got alot of bad press.
After some talking, the four of them decided that it could work as long as they have mutual control. After this, Overpriced Market, hosted by Mar and Over the Wall was released. OBrien and Slynke also had an idea for a radio show, but it failed to make any appearance in the gang scene.
If there were to be any more radio shows on GTAF Ottae and Rob_UK won't change the name, as it shows that they were the pioneers of one of the most important PGC creations of 2006.
Post PGC
GTAF Radio made 2 episodes after the PGC was shut down to review the biggest news on GTA IV. They hope to create more episodes in the future but these will be for special occasions such as the release of GTA IV or the return of the PGC
Reboot
After a huge break after Episode 9, Ottae decided to bring back GTAF Radio. Because Rob went to university, it meant he could no longer co-host the show and Ottae had to find a replacement. He didn't have to look very far though, as TenaciousD., who's worked with him on so many projects was the ideal member.
They release Episode 10 and it generally received good reviews. The topic is now pinned in Gen Chat and a RSS/Podcast has been made to download and listen to both old and new episodes.
Since Ottae and TenaciousD. are both around a lot more than Rob was, episodes are roughly weekly, depending on the level of news. They also intend to use more guests on the show and talk about discuss more than just tell the news.
The Rebooted show only uses 1 pinned topic, which has it's title edited when a new episode is released. This can be found here.
Guests
Since the reboot, Ottae and TenaciousD. have tried to get more guests on the show to increase the diversity of the material on the show. These guests have provided a friendly, more relaxed slant to the show, making it more easy and comical to listen to.

It is now possible to get itunes to automatically download the newest episode. GTAF Radio is now listed in the Itunes Store, so you can search for "GTAF Radio" and download the latest episodes from the store, it is free however.
You can also subscribe manually by selecting "Advanced" at the top and clicking "Subscribe to Podcast" then typing this in the box:

And the podcast should be added to your Podcasts list. The link above also works as an RSS news feed, so you can be update on each episode by your browser rather than iTunes.
